At Tyr’s Treat Trove, we believe dogs deserve the very best—because let’s be honest, they already think they run the house. Our treats are made with love, care, and thoughtfully chosen ingredients to make every bite a happy one for your four-legged companions.
Hi! I’m Erin, and together with my husband John, we share our lives with and are the proud humans of Bacchus, Moka Nelly, and Tyr—our trio of taste testers and daily inspiration.
Our adventure into treat-making started when Bacchus revealed he had special dietary needs. What began as a mystery and uncertainty, soon turned into a full-on learning journey involving mast cell tumors (MCTs) and cystine stones. Not to be outdone, Moka has her own sensitivities and allergies, proving that our household keeps things interesting (and ingredient labels closely inspected).
Finding reliable guidance to support their health wasn’t easy, so we took matters into our own hands. After searching for answers and coming up short, we rolled up our sleeves and did the homework ourselves—digging into books, research, and every reliable resource we could find. We spent years researching, reading, and learning everything we could to better understand how to give our dogs the quality of life they truly deserve through food. We wanted our pups to live their happiest, healthiest lives… and still enjoy delicious treats.
That passion and dedication led to the creation of Tyr’s Treat Trove.
